On Sundays I reflect.
I didn’t drink alcohol this week. There were a few times I thought about having a beer. It’s better that I didn’t.
I’m trying to form healthier habits. It’s hard. I’ve been stretching most mornings before beginning my day.
I got rid of Netflix. It has been a very tough transition for my bedtime routine, going to sleep without the TV on. I should mention I still have access to some online television, but it’s not in my room any more or on my phone. I’ve been listening to 432 hz music to fall asleep. For the first time I can recall, I haven’t been waking up at 4AM.
Vail opens Friday. I am eager to be back on my snowboard. A few of my friends have ridden elsewhere already, but I’ll be starting this weekend up here. If you’re planning to ride this winter let’s get some laps in.
My dude Alec Blows Glass came up this week to make a few more potato cups. We had a good time and made some cool cups together and we have more in the works.
The rest of this week was spent planning our upcoming Miami Cup Collectors Club. Almost all of the details are finally confirmed and we will be making an announcement this week. Tickets will be on sale for an early bird price so make sure to get them before the price goes up.
This Thursday we have a small drop going live with Bard from Leadville. We got a collaboration in and he got one in with Matty B, plus a few solo works. The drop is coming just in time because Bard’s Mush Mug just sold and I don’t think we have anything left from him on the shelf!
Next week we have another drop from the Texas Thick Boys - Geoff and Ian. This time the guys sent 6 Thick Bottom Retti Pints featuring Molten Aura accent colors and I must admit there are a few I want for myself. I also know from speaking to a few clients who got some of the first rounds that this series is going to be sold out for certain. Your best chance at grabbing one of these freshies is to get on the email list and try to checkout before the others next week. Good luck to everyone trying to lock these down!
I want to write more today, but I’m once again feeling the pressure to get to the studio and start selling glass. Our fan is being installed today, followed by ducting and hoods later this week. By next Sunday I hope to be writing about our completed construction and newly operational work stations at Bat Country Studios. If you are an artist wanting to come share our space this winter and get some laps in at Vail and Beaver Creek please reach out to get on the calendar ASAP as the winter season is filling up fast!
