Growing up in the Midwest there were a few artists whose pipes always stood out. Mostly I remember some name brands bongs from high school along with a handful of sculptural artists whose work I couldn’t even begin to understand. Freeek is one of those artists who has had me captivated since I first found out about glass pipes. Years later it is a real privilege to have his cups available bringing a lot of my experience with glass full circle to some of the first glass art I appreciated.
